And the Guitar Hero Champion is….

On Friday we had the first Guitar Hero tournament at GPL using Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. After some close competition, a winner emerged. Mikey B and Cesar C battled it out in expert mode in a grueling face off playing “Knights of Cydonia” by Muse. In the end Mikey B was victorious. He won tickets to the City Lights Theatre. Second place went to Cesar C and third place to Riley S. The easy mode competition was won by Alex A who battled Nick B playing Mississippi Queen by Mountain. The medium mode competition was won by Kandee who battled Krystal playing Schools Out by Alice Cooper. The GH tournament was part of the Game On! summer program for teens at GPL. We had a lot of fun and watched some awesome performances.

Next week is the last week of the Game On! program. Wednesday from 4-5 pm is a chocolate tasting party. Find out what your favorite candy bar reveals about your personality or try your hand at the chocolate guessing games. There will be a chocolate fountain and chocolate prizes. Mmmmmm, chocolate. So much chocolate, so little time.
