Do you feel the need for speed?  The competition field is MarioKart for the Wii.  Do you have what it takes to race to victory?

The first ever video game tournament at GPL is almost here!  October is the month to crush your opponents, take the title, and win the glory.  You don’t even need a driver’s license. Play will take place on two 42 inch flat screen TV’s and a giant projection screen.

Players will use GPL equipment and the Wii remotes.

This is the site for all things MarioKart Tournament related.  Check back for updates on winners of the qualifying rounds, who makes the finals, and of course the crowning of the grand champion.

Qualifying Rounds are October 3 & 17.

Note:  You must qualify during one of the two qualifying rounds to participate in the finals.

Otherwise, come and watch history unfold as we crown the first ever MarioKart grand champion.

Pizza and soda will be served.

Prizes:

1st Place- $50 gift certificate to Game Stop (and all the Glory)

2nd Place- $30 gift certificate to Game Stop

3rd Place- $20 gift certificate to Game Stop
